Set sail! Voyage is a mapmaking game about a journey across the seas. Catch the wind, make discoveries, and draw your map as you chart your voyage. Will you discover an uncharted island? Dangerous pirates? Haunted treasure? A big whale?

Voyage is written to be played either on your own or with any number of your friends, and works well as a standalone game or as a side game in the middle of an ongoing campaign.

To play Voyage, you'll need at least one six-sided dice, a deck of 52 playing cards, and something to draw with.

The sword table is all bangers.

We played this game but did an airship instead of an ocean voyage. We had a great time and came up with some interesting scenarios!
We also used some graph paper and decided to travel a number of squares equal to the dice roll.

That's a terrific adaptation! What's the weirdest thing you ran into?

A hot air balloon, piloted by a shirtless gnome holding a familiar sword and shouting curses at something on the ground below him.
I guess it also depends on what you mean by weird. We also encountered some giants in the middle of a ritual chant. It had created a massive storm and that, along with the reverberations of their powerful voices, knocked a crewmate overboard. A giant caught them and placed them back on the ship. Once the ritual was complete they started walking in different directions and disappeared.

I finally got a chance to play this game! We had a sea voyage ahead, and I had zero ideas on what to do. So I pulled out Voyage. We had a great time drawing cards, discovering seemingly abandoned ships crammed with pirates, cursed islands swarming with dangerous creatures and whirlpools crafted from dark sorcery.

Oh that's terrific! Thank you so much for telling me!
