VERTEX

SPIRE is a game about dark elf revolutionaries fighting to retake their home from the beautiful, decadent aelfir. In this impossible mile-high city, players use subterfuge, terrible violence, and strange magic to take down authority figures and convince talented individuals to join the rebellious Ministry. 

VERTEX is a collection of scenarios that I’ve used in my own SPIRE games. Each works well as a one-shot scenario, or as interstitial adventures in the middle of an ongoing campaign. 

• In BREAKING OUT, the players stage a jailbreak to rescue a Ministry operative.
• In FATHER OF DEATH, the players investigate a murder mystery party.
• In THE GOOD DOCTOR, the players try to recruit a talented surgeon to their cause.
• In FUNERAL FOR A SON, the players attend a rich man’s wake to reveal his final message.
