VERTEX

SPIRE is a game about dark elf revolutionaries fighting to retake their home from the beautiful, decadent aelfir. In this impossible mile-high city, players use subterfuge, terrible violence, and strange magic to take down authority figures and convince talented individuals to join the rebellious Ministry. 

VERTEX is a collection of scenarios that I’ve used in my own SPIRE games. Each works well as a one-shot scenario, or as interstitial adventures in the middle of an ongoing campaign. 

• In BREAKING OUT, race against the clock to jailbreak a Ministry operative - before the Paladins arrive.
• In FATHER OF DEATH, infiltrate an aelfir murder mystery party - with real murder.
• In THE GOOD DOCTOR, recruit a talented surgeon to the cause - in the middle of
  a bar fight.
• In FUNERAL FOR A SON, uncover a dead operative's last message - in the middle of his open-casket funeral.
